Chondrus Crispus (carrageenan) Extract
On this occasion we would like to tell you more about one of the natural riches that the sea provides us with, the Chondrus Crispusalso known as Irish moss, carrageen moss or pearl moss, which is a red algae cultivated for the production of carrageenan.
Chondrus Crispus extract is another star ingredient of Anakena cosmetics, as it provides the skin with important nutrients thanks to its high content of minerals, trace elements and vitamins. Its high carrageenan content reduces water loss and contributes to the skin's natural moisture retention, leaving it soft, firm and radiant.
The chondrus crispus extract used by Anakena is certified organic by ECOCERT.
It is found in the following products: hand cream, mild soap, shampoo and nourishing balm.
